Hello - I currently live in the state of Missouri and will be moving out of my apartment mid-August. I was told by my landlord that I will be required to pay the full month's rent for the month of August. I have never heard of such a thing before, and I have rented from other landlords in other states. My first month's rent was prorated, so I'm at a loss. I asked my landlord if this was in the law, and they were not able to give me a clear cut answer. I did some research online and didn't have any luck finding anything. Does anyone know more information about this - or able to point me in the right direction?
